A week is gone, and is gone my girlfriend too. She came back to home a few days before me so I have another weekend to enjoy with my friends.
Now I’m here, on The train from
Lisbon to Faro, after very few hours of sleep, sad and happy at the same time, super tired and excited for the week end to come.
…and probably we will have a “surf morning” next Sunday, can’t wait!
Siamo in un locale piccolissimo che si trova ad Alfama… Qui i ragazzi si ritrovano con propri strumenti musicali e insieme suonano e cantano le canzoni popolari… È davvero strano per me vedere persone così giovani con così tanta passione nel cantare le proprie tradizioni popolari

Esibirsi davanti a più di 90.000 persone che con le mani al cielo intonano le note delle proprie canzoni deve essere una cosa davvero inspiegabile… Io ero in mezzo a quelle persone e ci sono stati attimi in cui i brividi mi attraversavano la schiena… È stato in assoluto il festival più emozionante che abbiamo mai visto…

This festival is awesome. I mean, the camping is a total mess, the toilets are scary and taking a shower is a mirage almost like sleeping but the lineup is great. In three days we’re gonna see on stage kooks, Beirut, arctic monkeys, portishead, arcade fire, Slash, Brandon flowers and the strokes, isn’t that enough?!
The last night live show with Beirut and Arctic Monkeys was great but being able to sleep in the camping is nearly impossible…but that’s not a problem, we’re on vacation after all…
The beach for the first day is praia do Meco. A really nice place ten minutes far from the festival area and with big waves (well, at least for an italian guy)
The sun is high and the water fells like just melted ice, simply perfect
